Rev. Corey Read (she/her/hers)
Pastor Rev. Corey Read is an Ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church. Pastor Corey is married to Rev. Dan Read, who pastors Salem United Methodist Church in Benton, AR. Together they have two children, Alyce (5) and Tyson (infant). Pastor Corey has served in local churches across Arkansas and at SAU Wesley Foundation. She has served on a variety of Conference and District committees. Her passions for ministry include helping others discern their own calls to ministry, spiritual direction, pastoral care and counseling, building relationships with those inside and outside the church walls, and is especially passionate about engaging in conversation with those who have been hurt by the church and helping them reconnect with God. Leah Burleson (she/her/hers)
Children's Minister
Leah Burleson is a lifelong United Methodist and a graduate from UA Little Rock, with a degree in sociology. Leah is passionate about Children’s Ministry and Christian Education. One of her favorite things in Children’s Ministry is witnessing the kindness that children naturally have.
Leah has worked for the Wesley Foundation at UA Little Rock and currently works for ACCESS Schools in Little Rock.
In her free time, Leah loves making crafts and reading. She loves being a part of the OFUMC family.
