Shepherd’s Hope Neighborhood Health Center
OFUMC helped found Shepherd’s Hope Neighborhood Health Center (SHNHC) with the help of Fellowship Bible Church in 2006. Since 2014, SHNHC operates independently through OFUMC with vital help from other Little Rock Churches and volunteers. OFUMC actively supports the mission and operation of SHNHC, located both inside the church education building and in the converted houses on church property. Last year our members served about 900 hours volunteering in the Medical and Vision clinics and three of our members serve on SHNHC Board. The SHNHC’s Medical, Dental, Vision, and Social services and counseling clinics served 1200 patients in over 2500 visits (follow-up appointments, lab work, or pharmacy prescriptions).
